There are few musicians in any style or idiom have more amazing background than Shane Vanderwall. At the age of six as a pupil of the catholic grade school in Sri Lanka, he was a member of a choir, mostly religious songs and he played the organ or piano as well at the age of 13. Being part of a student program, he met a black guy with the first tapes. At that time, he really have a new technique and that was his first time he got in touch with Bob Marley's music, a truly inspired songs.
Vanderwall has overcome hardship and struggled in situations that might have convinced someone less confident in their ability to opts another path. But he who has been singing since childhood and playing since he was a teen. And most intriguing journey from Sri Lanka to his current residence in Germany. Sometimes the word "street musician" is used about to describe anyone who choose to sing or play in any outdoor environment for money. That push, coupled with the fact that street musicians enjoy a level of popularity in Europe far greater than that in USA, finally culminated in a project that's reached thousands of avid and open-minded listeners without any extensive marketing campaign or high level media push. Today Shane was one of the most in demand artist in Germany and throughout Europe.
